What it checks
Prasovi runs Prowler against your AWS account — the same open-source auditing engine security teams already trust, not a black-box reimplementation. Read-only credentials only; Prasovi never requests write access and never modifies your infrastructure. Findings cover IAM misconfigurations, exposed storage, overly permissive security groups, and the standard CIS/compliance checks Prowler is built around, ranked by severity so a fresh account doesn't hand you 400 equally-loud alerts on day one.
The part most cloud scanners miss
A misconfigured S3 bucket is a finding. A misconfigured S3 bucket plus an access key for that same account sitting in a public GitHub repo is an incident waiting to happen — and most tools never connect those two facts, because the code scanner and the cloud scanner are different products from different vendors that don't talk to each other.
Prasovi runs both under one roof. When a secret scan turns up a hardcoded AWS key, Prasovi checks it against your connected AWS credentials and tells you directly: this specific leaked key belongs to this specific live account. That's a different, much sharper kind of alert than "you have exposed secrets" and "you have IAM issues" reported separately with no link between them. More on how this works →
Built on tools that are already proven
Prasovi's cloud scanning runs on Prowler; code and secrets scanning runs on Gitleaks, Semgrep, and Trivy. These are the same open-source engines used inside much larger security platforms — Prasovi's job is running them well, correlating what they find across code and cloud, and putting it in front of you without a six-figure contract or a six-week onboarding. If you already trust Prowler, you already trust the engine doing the checking.
Setup
- Connect an AWS account with a read-only IAM role (guided setup, a few minutes)
- Prasovi runs an initial audit and surfaces ranked findings
- Connect a code repo (optional but recommended) to enable correlation against leaked secrets
- Re-scans run on your chosen interval, or trigger one manually anytime
